In this giving season, I'm forever grateful for being in a position to represent our community and share success stories that lift us all - whether in a Wonder Woman costume, a commercial spot, a community news show, or a major fundraiser for any of a dozen charities. It's all about shining the spotlight on good works and great people who are making positive change.

Spotlight with
Emily Zubi
Tiny but mighty - Emily Zubi is a marketing powerhouse and the ultimate people connector. What an honor to be one of her first in-studio guests on her community news show, "Spotlight with Emily Zubi". This power marketer has built quite a network for professionals called "Miami Women Who Rock". She's a woman of great strength and resilience who shares her heart and empowers others. Take a listen as we talk career, family, faith and perseverance.

Huge news for my partners at LEON Health - their amazing Medicare benefits have
received the coveted 5-star designation! This means those who turn 65 and older can enroll any time, all through the year, to join the world of white glove service and top-notch health benefits at any of the 8 state-of-the-art LEON Medical Centers across Miami-Dade County.
It's a joy to work with Alina Mayo Azze and Willy Chirino to spread the news of the latest offerings from LEON - a family business serving our community for 27 years.

Casting a Safety Web for Kids |

Calling all Superheroes - thank you for creating a safety net for our most vulnerable kids. It was a packed crowd of 500 for the 27th Annual Be A Voice Luncheon. If you don't know about Voices For Children, it's the fundraising arm of Miami-Dade County's foster care system, and its new President & CEO Kadie Black is making significant strides for the kids with her wonder woman energy. Voices just launched a new website and so many new services for children in the system.
During the event, 15 young people joined us on stage and starred in an emotional video about their experience going to the remote mountain villages of the Dominican Republic. These are kids who usually receive support, but now they've discovered the transformative power of helping others. Kudos to Kadie for taking months to secure all their birth certificates and passports to get this group on their first plane ride— an experience with Blue Missions they'll never forget.
